MANITOWOC-FINCANTIERI DEAL CLOSES

“Manitowoc Corporation announced today that the sale of its Marine Group, which includes both Marinette Marine and Bay Shipbuilding, to Fincantieri closed on New Year’s Eve, as planned. The price was $120 million, in cash.”

I wonder if this will impact the GAO’s decision on how to handle the GAO’s investigation of the Marinette Marine protest over Bollinger winning the FRC contract? The decision is due by the 15th.
