This site has changed complexion, not for the better or worse. Just a different kind of bad.

The previous bad was the tone, tenor and repetitious commentary. But there was a comic-amusing-sick quality that kept it on my surf routine.

The new bad is imispgh. But there is nothing to keep me coming back for more. Ugh.

Just check the “Recent Comments” block on the right. It’s typically 60% imispgh… and pathetically, it’s imispgh commenting on imispgh posts. Repeatedly commenting on your own comments just shows some kind of mental affliction.

I’m out of here! Good bye CGR. Forever.

God knows what kind of settlement you got to shut up. But it’s OK with me!

Just heard about the LANTAREA case involving a disabled Veteran … shame on the LANTAREA Commander, on CG and on Civil Rights. Does someone have to die before corrective action is taken? What good is writing letters to the workfore encouraging the report of problems when leaders and managers take no action. Really too bad. Guess a settlement will occur before a finding can be issued… again.

What was his so-called “disability” that makes him more special than any other employee?

I don’t care who owns or moderates what but the new reply format is terrible. Am I the only one where each reply gets skinner and runds down the page? If not, the issue needs to be resolved.

    So, what’s new?

What’s new is that HQ is vacant during the holidays. Therefore, the Coast Guard Office of Official Comments and Propaganda will not be posting at CGR until next week!

  4. staff says:

We will not allow single readers to post as more than one reader. Pick a name or moniker and please stick with it. In that past we have had readers debate themselves for conversation sake. No more. If we catch a reader doing this, we’ll do our best to block them.
