Comment Policy

Our comment policy is pretty simple and to the point.

• We moderate all comments.
• Comments should be (or shall be) on topic.
• Keep it nice.
• Profanity:  We’re sailors and can live with some.  The four letter “F” word is out.
• Personal Attacks for the sake of attacking is out.
• Facts, just facts and please substantiate comments that are not “your opinion.”
• If you don’t see your comment posted within 24 hours, feel free to ask us why at editor@coastguardreport.org
• Anonymous is fine, just leave the name, e-mail and website fields blank.
• Lastly we welcome “retorts” to our post and ask that you back it up with substantiated facts.
